This morning we went to the winter farmers market to buy our Christmas dinner (pheasant) where I recognised (and got a hug from!) the first gay couple to get married in Utah after the ban was ruled unconstitutional yesterday. Their first day of married life and they were at work! Then we went to the beer shop to buy a home brewing kit - finally I will be putting my chemistry degree to use!

This is not what I expected Utah to be like. I am pleasantly surprised :)
